Typography

Our brand typefaces are Denim Wide (WD) and Denim, designed by Display Type. They are part of the same family, but cater to two different needs.

The use of our brand typefaces is not recommended for applications such as PowerPoint when documents are intended for external distribution to recipients that don't have our brand typefaces installed on their computers. The standard typefaces Arial should be used in all MS Office applications that is meant for external distribution.

Please note that Arial should never be used in external communication, when our brand typefaces are available.

We use Denim Wide for larger headlines, for a more impactful expression, while we use Denim for helpful and functional subheadlines and body copy.

Tracking is the horizontal spacing between letters. We use tighter tracking for headlines, and slightly more relaxed tracking for longer body copy and smaller sized copy.

When using percentage tracking (mostly in Figma), please note that the value will change depending on the size of the typography.
The general rule of thumb is: slightly tighter tracking for headlines, and slightly looser for body copy, to ensure legibility.

Leading is the vertical spacing between lines of text. Similarly as with tracking, we strive for tighter leading in headlines, and a more relaxed leading for body copy.
